On 10/23/2023, Hampton Police and Hampton Fire were dispatched by ACES to the area of 5142 Gibson Road for a report of an unknown fluid on the roadway. Upon arrival, an unknown fluid was observed in the North bound lane of Gibson Road from W. Hardies Road to Elgro Road. The fluid did not appear to be making the roadway slick or hazardous at the time. Sgt. Kirsopp notified the Hampton Township Road Department to respond to the scene to evaluate the roadway. The road department responded and covered the unknown fluid with an oil dry type material.
