On 01/01/2024, Officers responded to Indian Spring Lane for a report of a deer that had been shot and was dead on the complainant's property. The resident advised the deer had since been retrieved and this all happened 30 minutes prior to calling.
Based on the described location of the deer, it would have run onto the property from a back wooded area. The resident was advised this is not an abnormal thing and that deer often run a short distance before they die. Another neighbor came by and advised the neighboring property (65 acres) allows people to hunt the property. Call was then cleared
