On April 28, the Hampton Twp. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Cedar Ridge Rd. and Middle Rd. for the report of an accident involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, contact was made with both occupants of the motorcycle and confirmed that the female passenger was injured.
The motorcycle operator stated that he was travelling north on Middle Rd and as he made the right hand turn onto Cedar Ridge Rd. the bike hit gravel that was all over the roadway causing him to lose control. Shaler Hampton EMS arrived on scene and transported the passenger to the hospital for further treatment.
Hampton Fire 329 arrived on scene and assisted with traffic control. ACES notified Allegheny County DPW for the gravel in the intersection of Middle Rd. and Cedar Ridge Rd. Hampton Officers cleared off as much gravel as possible prior to clearing the scene.
