On May 5, a Hampton Township Police Officer was dispatched to the area of Ferguson Road and Wyland Avenue for a report of a single vehicle accident with unknown injuries. The officer arrived on scene and located a single vehicle off the roadway of Ferguson Road against a guardrail and tree. Contact was made with the operator who denied injury.
While speaking with the operator outside of the vehicle, the Officer smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the operator’s person.
Based on the field sobriety tests the operator was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
The vehicle was towed by Leo's Towing.
