PennDOT has announced that replacement work on the Route 910 bridge over Deer Creek in West Deer Township will begin Monday, June 3rd, weather permitting.
To allow this work to occur, Route 910 will be closed in this area through August 21st. All traffic will be detoured.
The posted detour is as follows:
East of the Closure:
- From Route 910, turn onto Cedar Ridge Road
- Turn right onto Middle Road
- Follow Middle Road back to Route 910
- End Detour
West of the Closure
- Same detour in the oppose direction
Yes, this will bring a lot of traffic to already extremely busy intersections along Middle Road at Cedar Ridge and East Hardies. The Township's Police Department will be monitoring these intersections at the beginning of the detour and working with PennDOT to determine if additional traffic control is needed.
Please consider using alternate routes and leaving at earlier times to help alleviate congestion in these areas.
