Since the early 2000s, Hampton Township has implemented an archery, deer management program, on Township owned property. As development expands, the deer's natural habitat is diminishing. This overpopulation has led to a rise in auto accidents, the potential for Lyme disease cases, and property damage. To promote community safety and wellbeing, the Township is now offering homeowners the chance to have an approved archer come onto their property and help manage the deer population.
