[ARCHIVED] Hampton Police Participating in NO SHAVE Campaign

We are excited to announce that the Hampton Township Police are again participating in the 4th annual “NO SHAVE" campaign.

For those not aware, "No-Shave" is a multi-month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness. The goal of No-Shave is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, letting it grow wild and free and donate  the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, early detection, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle. Our male officers may choose not to shave and female officers can wear their hair down in a ponytail.
All donations from October, November and December will go to the Mrs. Claus Club Pittsburgh North Chapter.  The Police Department would like to continue to support the Mrs. Claus Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to local women and men undergoing cancer treatments. Please see the attached link to learn more about this organization http://mrsclausclub.org/or visit their Facebook page at The Mrs. Claus Club of the North Hills.

Members of the police department have pledged a donation and we are asking for your help, as well.  We would be honored if you would submit a donation of your own using the information provided or can make a cash or check donation to the Hampton Police Department Charity Fund.  Please contact the Hampton Police Department, 412-486-0400, if you have any questions. We may extend our fundraising efforts into 2025. Check back for more details.
