On 12/16/24, HPD was dispatched to the intersection of William Flinn Hwy and Anderson Dr. for a report of a three vehicle accident. Upon arrival, contact was made with all occupants of the vehicles and confirmed that one patient was requesting to be evaluated by medics.
Unit #1 stated that he was travelling south on William Flinn Hwy when he observed the vehicle to be stopping abruptly in front of him and was not able to stop in time and struck unit #2 in the rear end.
Unit #2 stated that she was stopping in traffic for Unit #3 to make a left hand turn onto Anderson Dr. when she was struck from the rear by Unit #1. Unit #2 then struck Unit #3 in the rear end from the impact of Unit #1. The driver was evaluated by Shaler Hampton EMS and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
Unit #3 stated that he was stopped on William Flinn Hwy to make a left hand turn onto Anderson Dr. with his turn signal activated when he was stuck in the rear by Unit #2.
