On 2/10/2025, the Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Banks School Road near the railroad tracks for a one vehicle collision. Upon arrival, they observed one vehicle into a telephone pole and one operator out of the vehicle. The pole was sheared off in the middle and dangling over the roadway. Duquesne Light was immediately notified for an expedited response. The vehicle sustained disabling front end damage and had to be towed. Hampton Fire Police assisted with traffic control until Duquesne Light arrived on scene.
