On 7/13/25, the Hampton Twp Police were dispatched to California Dr. for a report of an alarm activation for natural gas. Upon arrival, contact was made with the homeowner outside of the residence who stated that an alarm next to his furnace was going off. Hampton Fire and Elfinwild Fire units arrived on scene and determined that there was a smell of natural gas in the garage and ventilated the residence. Peoples Gas responded to the scene.
