Summary of proposed Zoning Ordinance: The Ordinance repeals Ordinance No. 627, as amended, of the Hampton Township Code of Ordinances and replaces it with an comprehensive update and restatement of the Township’s Zoning Ordinance. Article I sets forth the Title and General Provisions, Article II sets forth Definitions, Article III sets forth District Regulations, Article IV sets forth Conditional Uses, Article V sets forth General Regulations, Article VI sets forth Supplemental Regulations, Article VII sets forth Signs, Article VIII sets forth Nonconforming Uses, Structures and Lots, Article IX sets forth the scope and procedures of the Zoning Hearing Board, and Article X sets forth the procedures for the administration and enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance.  

Summary of proposed SALDO: The Ordinance repeals Ordinance No. 583, as amended, of the Hampton Township Code of Ordinances and replaces it with a comprehensive update and restatement of the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance. Article I sets forth the Title and General Provisions, Article II sets forth the Definitions, Article III sets forth the Application Types and Procedures, Article VI sets forth the Financial Security requirements, Article V sets forth the Installation, Inspection and Acceptance of Improvements, Article VI sets forth Design Standards, and Article VII sets forth the Administration and Enforcement of the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.

A full copy of both Ordinances and the Zoning Map are available on the Township’s website, at the Hampton Township Municipal Building from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Mondays through Fridays; and at the Office of the Allegheny County Council Clerk, Allegheny County Courthouse, Pittsburgh, PA.
