On March 13, 2015 at 3:16 PM Hampton Twp Police took a fraud report from a Township resident. The resident stated that on February 27,2015 the IRS sent him a letter stating that someone filed a tax return with his personal information. The resident stated that the return was in the amount off $1340.00 and that he has not yet filed his return for 2014 with his personal accountant. The resident has already been in touch with his personal accountant on this matter and has already started the necessary prevention measures to ensure his identity in the future.
