On August 19, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. Hampton Police received a phone call from a resident who was getting suspicious phone calls. The complainant stated that the male caller, who had a foreign accent, called multiple times in an attempt to gain access to his computer. The complainant was advised that this is a common phone scam.
