Township residents have been receiving telephone calls from a male who says he is from the Treasury Department or IRS, with a different area code, and telling them that they owe money and have to pay immediately, or someone will come to their door and arrest them.
This is a scam, and do not give any personal information to them at the time of the telephone call.
