On July 3, 2016 at 3:06 a.m., a vehicle was stopped on Route 8 after a Hampton Township officer observed a traffic violation. The operator showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. The driver was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
