Bethany Blackburn has served on Hampton Township Council since 2018 and currently holds the position of Council Vice-President. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Shaler-Hampton EMS Board of Directors and is the Council liaison to the Depreciation Lands Museum.
She has a degree in economics and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. She served two years in the Peace Corps in Côte d’Ivoire and then worked as a municipal budget analyst. She is currently CEO of North Side Christian Health Center.
During her tenure on Council, Bethany has championed infrastructure improvements, connectivity projects, and enhanced community services. Her top priorities include developing additional connectivity pathways, establishing a new public safety facility for fire and EMS, and improving services and infrastructure.
Within the community, Bethany was a Girl Scout leader for 12 years and is active in her children’s activities and at church. She and her husband have three children — two recently graduated from Hampton High School and one currently attends. They are proud to call Hampton their home.
